My Year of Rest and Relaxation

Pros
- Things like *Confederacy of Dunces* or *My Year of Rest and Relaxation* or *Pedro Páramo* aren't really about character growth.
- But reading Moshfeg’s other book My Year of Rest and Relaxation I know there’s got to be deeper meanings in Lapvona.
- My Year Of Rest And Relaxation, Ottessa Moshfegh
- When it comes to other fiction books, you could check out *My Year of Rest and Relaxation* by Ottessa Moshfegh
- My year of rest and relaxation. To me it’s a book about giving up and not even trying to be a good version of yourself, so maybe it could feel cathartic to read
Cons
- My Year of Rest and Relaxation by her as well
- Not a book I would recommend to everyone because I think only a specific kind of person would GET it, but; My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh. Although if you’re not into dark humour and unlikeable characters, maybe skip...
- Like Monstrilio (if you were struck by grief) or My Year of Rest and Relaxation (boredom/depression) ... Out of these, I didn’t think all of them were the best books but ones that help me explain what I’m looking for.
- Have you read my year of rest and relaxation? There are other similar books out there as well. That might be more recent, but I don’t know the titles offhand.
- I scrolled through and saw mention of My Year of Rest and Relaxation, and that’s the book I think of when I think of millennial fiction. It’s a sub genre I’m not particularly fond of but that I call “the girls are not all right.”
