Pros
- I don't have any proper true wireless IEMs and they seem great for the price.
- Damn, 30 dollars for a planar new meta tuning is insane
- Parent context: Price difference? Reply: Small difference. They're pretty cheap. I bought mine with vouchers. ST2 cost me just around $22, the ST2U I got for $30. I say you really get more than what you pay for
- My Space Travel 2 ULTRA arrived yesterday. I had plenty of time to A/B test it with the regular ST2. I like it better than the regular variant. It hits harder, not because the bass is stronger, but because it has more punch (better timbr...
- ANC Wise, they are almost Identical, but I do think Ultra fits into the ear better than the normal ST2 ... from a person that never tried Moondrop's Wireless buds, it's worth the $38 from where I live
Cons
- From ST2 User perspective, No. I don't think it's worth the extra bucks to upgrade to Ultra, as there's not much significant difference
- In comparison to ST2, Audio wise. Kinda mixed feelings about it, disappointing at best. Not much different despite having a planar with Ultra being ever bit bassier, however I do think you have more sound freedom in tweaking/tuning graph...
- Parent context: New release from Moondrop I found on TaoBao. - LDAC - JM-1 Tilted DF tuning using a B&K 5128 - Parametric EQ with frequency response graphs built into the Moondrop app - 199 RMB domestic price on TaoBao Reply: They're not...

My Space Travel 2 ULTRA arrived yesterday. I had plenty of time to A/B test it with the regular ST2. I like it better than the regular variant. It hits harder, not because the bass is stronger, but because it has more punch (better timbre?). ... The ST2U has less bass but a wider stage, with treble that isn’t sharp to the ears. ... The sound is tighter. Almost planar-like but without the “metallic” feel.

In comparison to ST2, Audio wise. Kinda mixed feelings about it, disappointing at best. Not much different despite having a planar with Ultra being ever bit bassier, however I do think you have more sound freedom in tweaking/tuning graphs in their dedicated EQ. And now Ergonomic wise, Ultra fits so much better into my ears

It's crazy cheap for a planar in general.
I really believe this is going to be a market disruptor for budget TWS earbuds if the product performs as good as it looks on paper. Might order it as TaoBao is accessible in my region
