Monster Hunter Rise

Pros

• I think most games like Hades 1, Monster Hunter Rise, Dragon Quest 11, the Fire Emblems and even Luigi's Mansion 3 will be the experienced you're looking for. Great games that don't really gain all that much by the added power of Switch 2.
• I’d probably recommend It Takes Two, Monster Hunter Rise, or Stardew Valley.
• But imo MH Rise was perfectly playable at launch, no? I played in then and didn’t really have big problems.
• Traveling by a long distance train with my partner right now, and playing Monster Hunter Rise on my Switch 2 and her Switch Lite via local connection. It's awesome, the only downside is that I cannot use Bluetooth headphones with the loc...
• Parent context: great scores but performance is looking rough... Reply: That's nothing new for a Monster Hunter game. Rise was the exception.

Cons

• Because Rise was made for the Switch and looks like an Xbox 360 Game.
• Like I said, Rise was 30 most of the time, but certain areas would tank the framerate by a good amount, like in the Flooded Forest.
• Monster Hunter Rise can drop to 20 fps on Switch (though it is at 30 most of the time), and that game had 3 amiibo, a special edition Pro Controller, Joy-Cons, etc.
• Games hes tried but didnt like: * monster hunter rise * pokemon (both too grindy for him)
• Thank god no bullshit lotto like rise’s for those trinkets…
