My SS V1 is one of the best overall headphones in my collection, and well worth the wait.
The funny thing is that relatively nobody has a Tungsten but for some reason almost every reviewer feels the need to mention whether or not amps past a certain price point can run Tungsten.
The ones that tend to hang onto significant values are the ones that are exorbitantly expensive to begin with, and the ones that have limited supply (for example, I doubt the Modhouse Tungsten is ever going to see a significant drop in value).
I really appreciate them getting back to me and clarifying where things stand.
I had a chance to listen to these at a show, and they do sound godly, but oh the hoops you have to jump through to get them moving.
