Pros
- Board: Mode Envoy Plate: Aluminum Switches: Bolsa Supply Laguna Blue Keycaps: GMK Future Funk R2
- Envoy is my first proper custom keyboard, and that's probably why i like clarky sound.
- I have both Envoy and 65CU. Both are amazing keyboards. Envoy is clacky, CU is still clacky but less loud.
- I believe the Envoy is worth it if you… 1. Enjoy its high pitched, clacky sound signature 2. Like the design and aesthetic 3. Want an in-stock full polycarbonate keyboard... With the current sale price of around $150 at its cheapest, I b...
- KBDFans Pluto in E-White, Mode Envoy in E-White, Bauer Lite Ghost, Mode Envoy in Polycarbonate.
Cons
- However, the Envoy has a major flaw: the two large screws to secure the pcb assembly from falling out. If installed, it can significantly affect sound and feel, making the board sound dull and feel stiff.
- its a nice keyboard but honestly not worth the hype it gets, i've just been playing around with the screws to see where i like them too
- This is a common issue with this board that’s well documented

- Love this thing so far. ... A note if you're looking to purchase an envoy, it doesn't come with a cable which is insane to me at the price, but maybe my fault for not reading? The underglow at least in the aluminum with these key caps is...

I omitted the screws for my Envoys. I played around with how much to screw them in for a bit and just decided I liked it without them. All preference though. For the cip-ins I usually press on the back tab with my screwdriver. That usually does the trick. Build looks sick though!
DO NOT TIGHTEN THE FASTENERS!! THEY MAKE THE BOARD SOUND HOLLOW FOR SOME UNGODLY REASON Also I fucking hate clip on stabilizers have you ever felt the displeasure of putting an elephant's worth of weight onto a stab to get it to go in and it just won't budge and then you break the housing because you were pressing on the wrong part.
