Modal Argon8

Pros

• Finally, here in the US, the Modal Cobalt8 and Argon8 are on sale for $500 right now. They are excellent synthesizers.
• Both were taken from being very good synthesizers at release, to excellent ones through continued improvement.
• the Cobalt and the argon are beginner friendly. The interface on Cobalt or Argon is not difficult to learn. All of the shift functions are marked underneath the knobs.
• I have seen the Argon8 in many videos and thought the sound was really great and the kind of Sound i need in my music.
• I've got the Modal Argon8 and it's great. Easy to use, not too deep but can be sufficiently expressive particular if you make use of afterotuch, expression pedal, and the more playable mod sources like velocity and note tracking.

Cons

• Key-beds are great besides too hard AT. But their sound is torture to my ears. And most important of all, modulation matrix is so limited as it was a toy.
• I bought an argon8 when it released, I honestly never really liked the sound, for the music I was making it wasn't really that good... Hands on control was great, keybed was great.
• I'm considering the Elektron Digitone MK2 and the Modal Argon8, but I'm open to other suggestions.
