Pros
- Same, I think its a really fun game with a unique mechanic.
- Combat and traversal are fun and dope. Nemesis system is really awesome. Like orc Pokémon. Pretty grindy.
- Shadow of War had this sweet spot for me too.
- It's a fun but shallow orc decapitation simulator. Still quite the power trip when I'm bored.
- I recently finished Shadow of War. ... I had a lot of fun with it. I agree that the story isn't great and I didn't care much for most of the story missions, but I loved hunting down Orc captains.
Cons
- It felt like a major step down from Shadow of Morder mechanically with regards to both combat and traversal. The first game felt more fluid and controlled far better, but SoW felt clunky and imprecise by comparison.
- It is an altogether inferior game to SoM, but I did get to storm a bunch of castles and ride dragons in a bastardized Tolkien timeline and for a time, it was enjoyable.
- I'll buck the trend here and say I enjoyed it, but the micro transaction lootbox bullshit is what killed it originally for me.
- I think Shadow of war was a huge step down from Shadow of Mordor. When I played, I constantly vacuumed to random edges while I was just walking around minding my own business during a fight, and if I tried jumping off a rooftop I would c...
- I throughly enjoyed Shadow of Mordor, but this game feels disjointed and beyond repetitive. It's the same four core things over and over. And when it adds a twist you'll do it until you've driven it into the ground.

I think Shadow of war was a huge step down from Shadow of Mordor. When I played, I constantly vacuumed to random edges while I was just walking around minding my own business during a fight, and if I tried jumping off a rooftop I would constantly land on some random wire or some pole or some other bullshit.

Feels like they needed a lot more explaining to Shadow of the tomb raider after Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War
the Nemesis system in Shadow of Mordor/War; ... But none of these has any real depth beyond simply levelling up to unlock new abilities and moving to new areas. Wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle.
