Microsoft Teams

Pros

• Teams caught up to the COVID Zoom bubble feature wise, this will stunt Zoom growth I think.
• There won't be any issues using Teams/Google Meet in Thailand with colleagues around the world.
• Been doing Teams calls from Bangkok to London for 2+ years now and it's honestly better than some calls I had when I was actually in the UK lol.
• I’d rather have teams. At least it’s got share point in the back end for some far better things to do than a glorified AOL instant messenger like slack.
• The workaround is "use Teams."

Cons

• I love the teams warning when they update their password. Practically a big red banner that says ‘click here to sign in again’ “Oh my goodness teams isn’t working and there’s this error message, what do I do?”
• We had to do that for Zoom but now we will be switching to Teams and I am going to have to do that all over again.
• Every time I got a Teams message I got super irritated.
• Parent context: One thing that I despise about Teams compared to Slack, is the mobile notifications. Simply put, in Teams I get "subscribed" to a bunch of work-related channels/groups ... and someone can "@all" or "@channel" or whatever...
• You could always try Teams for a little while, if you want something to make you really appreciate Slack.
