Michter's 20 Year

M20 is absolutely the pinnacle for me. I've been lucky to try some amazing pours in my journey, but nothing comes close. 24I barrel bottles are the end all for me.

M20 is the second highest I’ve ever rated a bottle in my life behind only a dumpy Springbank from 1993 that was distilled in 1968.

Michter’s 20 (I’ve never owned a bottle but I reviewed 19H1440 and gave it a 9.8)

This is a fantastic bottle - but subjectively I’ll take Michter’s 20 without a second thought.

I’ve only ever landed on something above a 9.5 twice (Michter’s 20 and the 1996 vintage Whisky Sponge 26 Year Old Springbank). ... The Michter’s 20? The only thing I really might like more about it could be a few proof points higher, but again - that’s nit picku

At the thousands of dollars price point? I’d only be interested in select old vintage Springbank bottles or Michter’s 20. There’s really nothing else that would ever make me consider dropping that kind of money on a bottle. This one does not approach that level of greatness.
