Absolutely breathtaking experience.
Recommend to take whole day to visit at least 3-4 monastaries and spend great time in Meteora.
I would recomend Macedonia and you doing a day trip to Mount olympus, a day in bergina (Aiges), maybe a day in Meteora , maybe chalkidiki ( if you want beaches).
