Meross

Pros
- I do have a couple of Meross switches that work through WiFi, and they’re pretty reliable and cheap, but not as reliable as Hue
- Second this, Meross outlets, switches in our home. Very stable, easy to program
- Same, had ours outside for 5 or 6 winters now, buried in snow definitely, seen -20f.
- I’ve been using Meross ones that have two plugs on them for a couple of years without issue. I like that they are independent controlled.
- You have two very good options in smart lighting and home automation: Meross, very economical, and Philips Hue, without a doubt the best.
Cons
- Meross (wifi)
- WiFi plug sockets, Meross for example, and a toggle shortcut on your phone.
- I’ve tried a bunch over the years - bunch of Tuyas (Treatlife), Meross, Leviton, etc. Most had issues except for my Lutron Caseta switches.
- meross and konnected both make hardware that easily integrates into myQ and works with alexa and smart things. meross for me is spotty.
- I’d narrowed my choices to ELEGRP, Shelly, and Meross, but I’m unsure which one is most reliable and user-friendly.

I have Eve, Meross, Aqara, and tapo devices. Flawless but equally confusing understanding how all of it works. Things only got smooth via the process I just noted..
