Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales

It makes sense narratively to play it before SM2, it's a very enjoyable game in its own right and it takes place during Christmas, which fits fantastically with this time of year. :) It's one of my favorite winter games.

Definitely play Miles first, it's only like 8-10 hours anyway and sets up some important stuff for 2. Plus the winter New York vibes are incredible

I’m probably in the minority, but I thought Miles Morales was the best of the three. It’s definitely shorter than the other 2, but I loved it.

Miles morales has such a great story and is super fun plus it really only takes like 8 hours to beat if you aren't doing all the side stuff

It'll be enjoyable on its own, and it does a good job of catching you up, but if you can play 1 and Miles Morales first, you should, because they are both excellent.

I recommend playing Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales first. Not only would you be skipping over two incredible games, but you won't have the full context of the story going into 2.
