- Makerworld I've earnt about 900AUD worth of points (which by the way is absolutely insane) I've even put a good chunk of it toward the P1S that happily lives in my house now
- They’re so much easier to collect that Prusa points. I’ve already almost collected coupons for a free A1 mini, but still zero value from Prusa (same models)
- But Makerworld is good for feedback and learning about what people like, so its a win win.

I also dont like many of the people and their behaviour on MakerWorld. I think they destroyed the community. ... MakerWorld supports this behaviour that came from capitalizing 3d modeling and I dont like it
makerworld is just a „pain in my buttholes“ (please say this in your best Borat voice) to use. And the issue is, they incentivice the creators so much, that often times its the only place you can get the models. Just downloading a model is so finicky, it sucks.
It’s not inherently bad, but unless you create an account on their website, you’re limited to 5 downloads and private mode and clearing browser data won’t bypass it.
Sucks that you paid $15 for a model that’s free on makerworld
