Mafia: The Old Country

Pros

• I’ve nearly finished it and thoroughly enjoyed it so far. Thing is, you know what you’re getting with Mafia games - the gameplay is not the best, but the setting, ambience and story telling is always top notch.
• In the test of sound element positioning in Mafia The Old Country, footsteps, shots, and ambient sounds were shown with realism and detail, easily locatable inside your head.
• If you've enjoyed previous Mafia stuff then the old country.
• I really enjoyed Mafia: The Old Country and Sicily is gorgeous so I'm really glad that they're adding a Photo Mode.
• Mafia: The Old Country wasn't the biggest game of the year, but it was an enjoyable experience that has seemingly worked out for Take-Two.

Cons

• Looks a bit janky and basic, looks like it’s going to be a mafia hit.
• Enjoying it. But the stealth and knife fights became pretty repetitive already. But for a $50 game its not bad.
• I tried to play the game in the Sicilian dub but they hadnt done the lip syncing.
• The Free Ride mode was definitely needed to fluff up the whole package. Once I finished the game I didnt think much about revisiting the empty open world, so this is a step in the right direction. I also really liked the driving, so firs...
• I'd say wait for a sale. I don't regret paying $50 for it because I had a good time, but I know this game isn't for everyone. Despite its flaws and shortcomings, it's nice to play a more linear game without an insane amount of open world...
