M2 pro

Pros

• The Pro. It does not throttle under load.
• The Hisense M2 pro is a better option in that price class with optical zoom and better brightness.
• Not worth it, better by a M4, it comes pretty close to my Mac Mini M2 PRO!
• My work machine is an m2 pro and I just did the buyback for it with a view of selling it to my friend
• But the M2 pro is a good compromise if you cant afford the M3

Cons

• Don't buy a 8GB macbook if you plan to do anything beyond standard office work.
• For the past 6 months or so, my 2023 Macbook Pro M2 Pro with 16gb of RAM has become really bogged down after a few days of use with even very simple tasks taking significantly (10x or more) longer than they have previously.
• Did you fix it? I’m getting the same issue with my hisense m2 pro, tow hours after installing it…
• Honestly I have an m2 pro with 16gb and an m4 pro with 24gb (work provided). I’m just a normal user, office apps, email, browsing, music, video, writing etc. I can’t tell the difference.
• The M2 Pro has similar screen specs to the M3 Pro.
