- Literally just played my first round about an hour ago and it’s amazing.

- I bought it on PS5 and was so impressed with it I bought it again for my Steam Deck. It’s an awesome game!
- Incredibly underrated console exclusive lol. Literally the best MODERN puzzle/rhythm game is locked to ps5?
- I played a bit of the new Lumines and was blown away by the visuals, very high quality graphics esp coming from the older lumines games I still play from time to time
Cons

- The game would be a perfect 10/10 if it wasn't for the one level I can't tell the colors apart in. I tried all three colorblindness modes and it's so difficult for me to get through. I can't remember the name of it but it has a India mot...

Lumines Arise is much more difficult than Tetris Effect. Gameplay mechanics are different and much less intuitive than Tetris. Audio visual experience is amazing in both games but Arise is just not as fun in gameplay department. I feel more frustrated playing it.
Im happy that I bought it, but maybe not a bad idea to wait for a sale. First you have training levels, and also survival levels on different difficulties which are fun and change up the game in different ways, still have to finish them all. You also have like 9 different levels in the single player mode. They are cool and I finished them, but it has replay value in trying to better your score / rank in every level. Or try to finish all the 9 levels in one single try. Multiplayer, is a hmm for me. Takes a bit long every time to find opponents. All in all its fun, if you like similar games i am pretty sure you will love this one too.

I'm absolutely loving Arise, been a Lumines fan for years. Hydelic have once again made one of the most beautiful soundtracks I've heard in a game
Yo Lumines is back and hittin hard Bet it's like a brain massage with VR love that trippy vibe
The game would be a perfect 10/10 if it wasn't for the one level I can't tell the colors apart in. I tried all three colorblindness modes and it's so difficult for me to get through. I can't remember the name of it but it has a India motif and the blocks are a kind of cranberry color and light green. I'm red/green colorblind and they need to add more contrast between the colors.
It’s the only vr game I bought and finished this year. It literally made me cry at the end. It just evokes such a human response.
