Logseq

Pros

• For stuff I actually want to learn, I use spaced repetition (apps like Logseq and Remnote have them built in, integrated with your notes).
• Really wish Obsidian natively treated block references as links, the way apps like Logseq and RoamResearch do.
• The Text Transporter plugin can make Obsidian act in a block-like fashion. You link a bullet point or paragraph to another page. It works in a similar way that Logseq does if you’re familiar with it.
• I'm trying Logseq, which is a freeware Obsidian. Not a lot of comparison yet, but it's worth a try if that's your concern.
• if you want smoother real-time collab, you might also look at Logseq or hedgedoc, they’re open source, web-friendly, and a bit easier to host for group editing.

Cons

• It's open source, it has a great workflow. Just had to wait a bit until it got a bit more mature and got the same level as Obsidian was. Hopefully with better plugins, too. Never happened.
• I didn't think I would miss it, but Logseq didn't make me happy about not using them
• Logseq was chosen for Wizarducks because we were broke, and because the notes feel more artificial to write, so less meandering was done. It is a good tool to document things if more people join the team
• reason i left Logseq too. I wouldn't have cared about development if existing app worked without so much friction. random stutter, super slow page load, random page pop-in etc...
• Logseq for me. Even with their slow development process.
