Lexapro

Pros

• I also have OCD and am on lexapro, helps so much with compulsions and intrusive thoughts.
• Lexapro is largely considered to be safe in pregnancy, especially considering the risks that come with untreated depression and anxiety.
• I’m on 10 mg Lexapro. I’ve been taking it for the past few years. 31 weeks pregnant now. My OB said it was safe.
• It has made everything better - Lexapro here as well.
• Thanks! It really has made a huge difference. I don’t know that I’ll be on Lexapro for the rest of my life, but if that’s what’s required for this experience, I will happily do it.

Cons

• I don’t understand what I need but it’s def not vyanese and lexapro because neither of those did anything no matter how many I took in a day
• Lexapro didn't work out for me, personally.
• Lexapro made me manic temporarily. Not too scary, but it was starting to be when I wasn't positive what was happening to me.
• I am taking Lexapro for PPA, and the NP recommended trying melatonin and no screens before bed, which has helped a little bit I think?
• Buspirone with Lexapro on top of my existing Zoloft prescription. Yes, I’m a mess.
