Levoit Vital 200S-P

Pros

• for a dusty living room i’d take the Vital 200S-P, mainly because the washable prefilter makes the actual filter work less like it’s fighting for its life
• I have the levoit vital 200s-p with the replacement voc green toxin absorber filter which is designed specifically for vocs, works great for my room.
• I have had the Levoit Vital 200-S-P for about a month and I love it. Got replacement filters for it on Amazon like 2 for under $30. App is nice to track the main filter life. I wouldn't get one without a pre-filter with having a dog. Tha...
• for that room i'd pick the vital 200s-p since its washable prefilter is nicer with a cat and replacement filters are usually cheaper
• For a bedroom Levoit Vital 200s excellent as 1,800 sq ft coverage will get you an excellent 7.2 or so ach, air changes per hour on high. 5 is "good" 6+ is excellent. So you will be well taken care of with that unit in bedroom.

Cons

• I like everything about the Levoit except this smell. I especially love the sound of the white noise which puts me right to sleep.

• Levoit Vital 200S-P. NB: Won't get rid of cat hair unless it's floating very close to the inlet.
• The Levoit Vital 200S-P has somewhat higher Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs) and uses activated carbon pellets. Build quality is probably not as good as Coway although I haven't seen many complaints about the Vital models here.
