Levi's 501

Pros

• Just bought a pair today. Great jeans.
• Can’t go wrong with the iconic Levi’s 501 (big sale in Levi’s overall)
• Ideally you want a 100% cotton pair (I prefer Levi’s 501 but I know not everyone likes them)
• Someone commented on shrink-to-fit 501s and that's as close as you'll get to the original Levi's people used to rave about.
• The Shrink-to-Fit 501s are great

Cons

• Levis 501 are kind of a mid rise, not meant to be worn so low on the hips.
• So I replaced them with a looser 501 I got in Japan only to blow out in the same spot less than a year.
• Nah, I bought I Levi 501 not realizing that the one I grabbed were 100% cotton, and they were uncomfortable for a while. Probably 3+ days maybe more and then they gradually became my favorite pair.
• I’ve bought a few pairs in the past 2 years and they seem fine but I’ve seen many comments complaining the quality is not what it used to be.
• The jeans you're looking at are outlet jeans so...I wouldn't say they're really worth much. The Levi's that the general public can buy easily in a brick-and-mortar store are usually terrible quality. Things rip at the crotch or the back...
