Levi, Finland

Pros

• They got a decent ski area at Levi and offer good chances to see Northern Lights.
• You could always skip the alps and go to Finland, the likes of Levi or Ruka.
• Barely any daylight, not much big mountain terrain but if you’re an intermediate or an advanced who likes to rip groomers, it’s great. No crowds in early in December and the views are incredible.
• Guy who lives and skis in Austria, I also went to Finland (Levi) and had a blast! Snow is basically 24/7 in perfect condition, plenty of snow, no people at all (?).
• Second one is Levi - it probably has more non-ski activities in more compact area.

Cons

• It is amazing and I’ve been down that run but there isn’t enough daylight and it was about -20 at the time so it wasn’t the best ski I’ve ever had. It is weird though how flat it is other than the mountain.
• Skiing in Levi’s is less cool
• Just back from Levi. Great people, nice mountain, other stuff to do. Cold, dark, takes a while to get to.
• The slopes are nice, lots of activities, shops, restaurants, but its also the most touristy place, most well known internationally etc.
• My last jeans were just okay department store level Levi.
