AI summary of the Reddit excerpts below — not a quote

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is widely regarded as a high-value tablet that offers superior processing power and screen resolution compared to many competitors in its price bracket. It is frequently praised for its 'bang for the buck,' particularly because it often includes a stylus and case in the box. While the Pro model is noted for its ability to handle gaming and heavy tasks, users are divided on its large 12.7-inch form factor and express some concerns regarding the longevity of Lenovo's software update cycle.

Pros

  • Excellent price-to-performance ratio, especially the Pro model
  • High-resolution displays (up to 3K) with good pixel density
  • Strong processing power capable of handling gaming and emulation
  • Often bundled with accessories like a stylus and protective case
  • Good audio quality with Dolby Atmos and 3.5mm jack availability

Cons

  • The 12.7-inch screen size is considered too bulky and heavy by some users
  • Limited software support window, with some models expected to end at Android 16 or 17
  • Screen brightness is reportedly better suited for indoor use than outdoors
  • Slower charging speeds and lack of an IP rating for water resistance
  • Software navigation buttons can feel cramped and poorly placed on the large screen

Caveats

  • Avoid the 4GB RAM version as users report Android struggles with that little memory; 8GB is the recommended minimum
  • The included stylus is described as basic and may not be sufficient for professional digital art
  • Promotion risk is not assessed due to insufficient data

Best for

  • Gaming and Wii-tier emulation
  • Media consumption, such as streaming videos and reading comics
  • Budget-conscious buyers who want an included stylus for note-taking

Avoid if

  • You need a compact, highly portable tablet
  • You require long-term software update guarantees
  • You primarily use your tablet in bright, outdoor environments

This summary uses balanced time weighting with about a 6-month half-life. The evidence is older, with a median source age of approximately 287 days, which may impact the accuracy of current pricing and software version details.

Lenovo idea tab is around the same price as the M11, but faster and longer supported. Also included stylus.

For that price the Lenovo Idea Tab is perfect. Please don't get the 4GB RAM one though, as Android really struggles with that little memory - get the 8GB and it should be alright though.

The idea tab pro is the best tablet here by a long long way. It''s not even close. Idea tab pro has near on 6X the graphics processing power and 2X the CPU power of the 2 devices.

Parent context: For $299 you get the Pro version, 256gb storage, 2" more display and a much faster CPU. How fast? Using the Dolphin emulator, it will play Wii games. Reply: Yes, I got a Pro with 12GB of RAM from China. It's a beautiful machine, but I think this is a great deal for the basic Idea Tab.

You should be able to chose between a number of good tablets in your price range including the Samsung Tab A9+ and the Lenovo Idea Tab.

I picked up a Lenovo Idea Tab Pro for £249 during Black Friday and it's the largest and fastest tablet I've ever had and was the first I'd bought with an included stylus (which worked fine, but I'll rarely use it I suspect). ... I would say that my only criticisms would be that the next major OS upgrade (to Android 16) will be its last one and the 3-button navigation is small, scrunched up and in the bottom right

In the US, Lenovo sells the Idea Tab with 4 GB of RAM for as little as $120, which is about 102 euros. I thought this would be in you price range.
