Lelit Mara X

Pros

• As far as straight espresso brewing/extraction, I honestly believe the Mara X gives me a better tasting espresso. I don’t think it’s a huge difference but it was noticeable both straight and in my cappuccino... I just felt the Mara X gav...
• MaraX is the only hx worth considering as it is actually cheaper than many drill boilers, and has some clever temperature management.
• The only hx worth considering is the MaraX as it's cheaper than a dual boiler.
• Lelit Mara X + Eureka Mignon Oro single dosing. pre-dose your beans in air-tight canisters and you're ready to go. This used to be my previous setup before i moved on, and it was a great setup.
• I went straight to a mid range setup and got the Lelit Mara X V2. I decided I loved coffee and jumped into something that will last a long time if taken care of.

Cons

• Build quality, big win to Lelit, the breville feels cheap and a bit clunky but it’s also instant and doesn’t need a 15-20minute heat up time.

• 1. Looks great 2. Heat up time is a little worrying - I know I can use a smart plug but I'll likely forget 3. Might be overkill for the amount that I use 4. Some reviews note the temp problems with multiple drinks etc
• There is a used Lelit Mara X v2 in my area for sale for about $900. Would it make sense to just add a $100 and get Lelit?
• Went from looking at Rocket and Lelit Mara X to realizing that it wouldn’t make that much difference for me as I am just getting started in this hobby
