Pros
- Most of us aren't Ansel Adams but Hasselblad and Leica still sell plenty of expensive cameras to people who want to take pictures of mountains that have already been shot thousands of times
- Yeah but Leica and Hasselblad have better tones so any picture you take with it will behold. The more money you pay the better tones you get and the better tones = better picture. I took a picture of a pile of dog shit the other day with...
- I always got the impression the "influencers" were all on the Fujifilm train (or Leica if they're doing a wealth flex)
- The Leica looks great and if I have to go down this route that's probably somewhere I'd end up, but it's not what I was looking for with this post.
- If I have money to buy Leica to take pretty pictures of my family vacation and dogs, I will buy Leica because I want to.
Cons
- Only competitor is the 1-2k more expensive Leica.
- Maybe Leica should try that.
- Also, I am one of the first to shit on Leica elitist, but that's not because they have a Leica - I'm making fun of their attitude around the brand.

I took a picture of a pile of dog shit the other day with my Leica and it was an incredible photo, probably the best photo of dog shit taken, maybe ever.

Usually I take the 645z, a Leica and GR2 in a pelican case.
Canon isn't our Harley, that would be Leica (incidentally, lot of crossover there!)
