Bolivia is really cool too if you take a two it three day trip to Salar de Uyuni and the high desert, La Paz, Lake Titicaca, and Beni province for the Amazon basin.

Regarding the Lake Titicaca, I've been investigating, and it looks like isla del Sol, is the best thing to do in the area, however, that would require for us to grab a two-hour bus (and go through immigration), to go to Copacabana, and there go by boat to Isla del Sol. I would have to do the trip back aswell, which means another 2-hour bus ride. I have 2 days/1 night planned for Lake Titicaca. Is all this worth it? Or should I simply enjoy Lake Titicaca from Puno?
I had heard Lake Titicaca doesn't have much happening and it's better on the Bolivia side?
The floating islands were great and some flamingos visited too, I think. It was nice to see different terrain than what I’d seen earlier in the trip.
