Like Lake Bled is lovely, but there are many, many nice lovely lakes similar to it just across the border in Austria- you just don’t hear about them because Slovenia only has the one.
Lake Bled is one of those places where it's touristy *because it's amazing.*
But from Ljubljana you can do Bled, you can do Bohinj, you can do Postojna + Predjama. All of it is amazing.
Also, as a general suggestion, look for accommodation in Bohinj instead of Bled and Cavtat instead of Dubrovnik. Way easier on the huge crowds and equally huge prices.
If you want something quiet and outdoors, Lake Bled is honestly magical, try going early in the morning or around sunset, it’s super peaceful and the views will blow you away.
