Lagom P80

I think the lagom 80 offers much better value, especially if you did want to try different burr sets.

Otherwise, Philos or Lagom P80 would be better choices. Burrs are also easy to change in the P80, but alternate burrs are much more expensive due to their larger size.

Seriously, I don't know what Lagom are thinking, but the P80 is insanely good value for money. If you have the dosh, skip 64mm and go straight to 80mm. The Core burrs will likely invite you to explore lots of beans and maybe even inspire an interest in straight shots or filter coffee. It;s a good time. Highly recommended.

At that budget the Lagom P80 is a fantastic option. At that budget and beyond, grinder options will be more like platforms for burrs. Meaning, most grinders will be fantastic, and you’ll get different results in the cup based on your burr choices.

Maybe a Lagom P80 would be worth considering though (looks like a very good grinder).

i opted for the p80 and i have absolutely not been disappointed.

i preferred the look of the p80 over the vertical burr options, and the lagom has some interesting factors - pre crushing system, variable rpm, blind burrs, bigger burrset...

All things being equal I would get the Lagom with the bigger burrs.

With the Lagom P80 starting to get delivered there are going to be a number of used P64 ( and other quality 64mm grinders) on the market soon. Something like this is a big step up from the grinders on your list IMO.
