How is it a good investment? I know I'll receive hate on r/espresso for questioning la marzocco. But it seems like a stupid machine to get for home use. The main selling point is consistency when doing many many shots but that doesn't matter at home. Meanwhile it offers no features to play around with for the home enthusiast and if your goal is to get just a nice shot without any fuss then there seem to be better machines around both in price and quality (like any spring lever).
I love espresso but find it hard to spend $7500 on a La Marzocco.
