Krakow isn't that big and can be covered easily in a day if you weren't doing day trips.
Rio carnival, the golden eagle festival in Mongolia, diving in the Galapagos, horse trekking in Kyrgyzstan, the pierogi festival in krakow, the great migration, gorilla trekking in Uganda… that sort of thing. So it feels like I’m traveling for something specific

Alternatively, I can recommend Poland. Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Warsaw, Lodz, and Poznan are all truly beautiful cities.
