Korg Volca Bass

Pros

• I bought volca bass cause it was pretty cheap and kinda versatile.
• Of all the Volcas I tried I only kept the Bass. And I still use it for bass sounds. I also have a monologue which can do bass obviously, but I must admit I still like the Volca Bass better for that.
• volca bass is such a vibe!
• Skip the TD3 and get a used volca bass.
• That volca is putting out a pretty big sound on the bass.

Cons

• A Volca Bass can do more than the 303, but it can't for instance play chords unless you fake it by tuning the oscillators to intervals.
• It's based on a circuit tracks driving a volca bass and an electribe EA-1 mkII.
• Parent context: I don't really have a preference for key size although I said that when I got a Volca Bass and quickly switched that out for the Korg Monologue cuz I couldn't consistently play the right notes on that either. The small ke...
• Volca Bass is a bit of a one trick pony, but it does have the thickest sound out of everything I own. It's straight forward but really good at what it does IMO.
• I am thinking to get a used Volca Beat, Volca Bass and Volca Keys (separately and in that order to study and learn all the functions of every box).
