Korg Multi/Poly

Pros

• 64 voices spread across 4 seperate synth engines, its an entire bands worth of sounds.
• If you’re willing to spend a bit more, I’d look into getting the Korg Multi/Poly, it’s super super powerful.
• One of my favorite synths at the moment is Korg's Multi/Poly. Even though I know it's just software running on a Raspberry Pi, I find the interface super fast for getting to the sound I want.
• Multipoly drops the samples in favor of better analog emulation and double the oscillators and filters per-voice of the other models.
• You should be looking at the Multi/Poly if you like John Carpenter and Vangelis type of sounds and textures. I can't see any reason to buy a Rev2 over a Multi/Poly.

Cons

• Korg multi/poly is also VA and has plugin version that can be tried out
• I got the multi/poly (keyed) but returned it because I didn't like the quality of the keys.
• I would suggest the Korg multi/poly, although this one can get so complex that I believe it’s not suitable for learning, but rather for applying what you’ve learned to a wider range of possibilities.
• The Korg Multipoly, Modwave, Wavestate, Opsix have the polar opposite quality keybed from the Modals, despite being in the same price range and octave count.
