Kobo Nia

Pros

• I bought the Kobo Nia which is the cheapest Kobo option and I've had this reader for like 4 years and it still works great!
• Welcome! I also got a nia! ... It was my first e-reader, and I was definitely a physical books-supremacist before that. Now I'm sold on this little thing. Installed KOreader, some new fonts, never looked back.
• I also got one. It's the only e-reader I've ever had so maybe my bar is low but I love it. After having been a "physical books are better"-supremacist this little thing won me over.
• Bought myself a refurbished kobo nia last week just to try, and i would say its nice. Im still trying to fit my ereader into my habbit but its actually going good. This display technology is actually impressive, not hurting my eyes at all.
• Honestly? I got one last year with the flip cover, and it's absolutely *perfect* for me. Reads pretty much every file, it's small and light, and besides the light it's got very, *very* few frills. It's exactly what I wanted in an e-reader.

Cons

• I think there were much better models available for very little more money, which made it look a bit odd.
• It is a couple of years old, and was kind of old and obsolete even then. I think Kobo made it to hit a very low price point.
• Kobo Nia - 6" e-reader, though is usually not recommended because of the lack of warm light, 212 ppi compared to the rest of the lineup having 300, only 8 GB of storage, not waterproof, doesn't support bluetooth (so no audiobooks), no Dr...
• The Nia is actually retired, so it's a bit tough to track down at a reasonable price. ... The tech is also a little dated as it still relies on Overdrive, which has also been retired to Libby, and not all books are instantly compatible (...
