Pros
- We really like it. The game has some cool set collection and objective fulfillment mechanisms. It plays fast but has what feels like a decent amount of strategic depth paired with interesting tactical decision making based on what is ava...
- Hard disagree. There’s like 3 “parts” to the whole game, a turn is super quick, and a game takes 20-30 minutes. ... Knarr is best conceptualized as a heavier Splendor: a fast, simple engine-builder that’s almost more of a race than an en...
- I love Knarr!
- This was in heavy rotation for me for a while. It’s still a great “big” game in a small box to carry around. I’m a fan.
- Aside from wishing the overall production was bigger and less fiddly, this has been one of my FAVORITE games I've been playing this year! 😀
Cons
- Man, I hate this game. The board is ridiculously small, the pieces are tiny, and the whole game mechanism is such that once someone pulls ahead, it's impossible to catch up.
- I enjoy it but it takes up way more table space than it ought to, I feel.
- Cant agree, I played it twice and each time it fell flatter than the earth. It felt like at the beginning of getting momentum, it just ends and ends immediately so making a comeback can be down right impossible in some games. Its fiddlin...
- The production is fine but I want to pull out my hair when somebody dares to breathe at the board and the ant sized cubes fly around on the income track
- it's one of the least elegant games I've ever played, some parts feel literally bolted on. I don't really feel the theme in anything. It's fiddly af. Luck is a huge factor interactivity is minimal. It takes too long for what it is, even...

We really like it. The game has some cool set collection and objective fulfillment mechanisms. It plays fast but has what feels like a decent amount of strategic depth paired with interesting tactical decision making based on what is available to you. It is a ton of fun.

Cant agree, I played it twice and each time it fell flatter than the earth. It felt like at the beginning of getting momentum, it just ends and ends immediately so making a comeback can be down right impossible in some games. Its fiddliness was a detractor for me as well.

Knarr is best conceptualized as a heavier Splendor: a fast, simple engine-builder that’s almost more of a race than an engine-builder. From that perspective, Knarr is a very successful design IMO.
