KitchenAid stand mixer

Parent context: We've had our KitchenAid pro mixer for 20 years and it feels/looks brand new despite using it all the time. When did they stop making quality mixers? Reply: They didn't, they are still excellent. The newer ones are just as good, but get a bad rap because the manufacturer built in a sacrificial gear that sometimes breaks

Got a KitchenAid mixer for $25 at goodwill a few years back. ... Thing has run like butter since. The grease cost like $5 and there are plenty of tutorials online. Simple job. I would recommend doing that.
