I don’t think Kindle Unlimited is worth it for me—out of 52 books I read this year, only around 10 are in KU, and buying them outright is still cheaper than 12 months of KU.
The only thing I miss from Kindle on Kobo is all of the authors who got scammed into doing Kindle Unlimited.
I’m also really into audiobooks and I’ve found that if you borrow a book on KU you get a massive discount on the audiobook - so I can give up my audible sub and just keep KU, borrow the book I’m interested in and get the audiobook for like $2-$4 each.
