Pros

  • But the Bel Air is a slim and slicey. I carry it as a secondary blade most of the time.
  • Gonna take her awhile and some googling and YouTube to realize the Bel-air you got her is basically heirloom quality.
  • I have a Keeshaw bel air - it’s not assisted but opens quick With a flick of my wrist. It’s a great knife.
  • 0350 is heavy duty and the Bel Air is an ultra lightweight Bugout competitor.
  • The american-made Kershaws like the Bel-Air are very good quality, but it's a light-duty knife. Whisper thin and slicy and featherlight.

Cons

  • Awesome knife. Wondering if micarta is the right choice for fishing though. I feel like fishy hands and fish guts and all that getting soaked up by that micarta might start to suck after awhile and don’t get me wrong I love micarta and t...

Kershaw Bel Air Amazing blade with insanely smooth action. Love this one as well. Great ergonomics and only $150~.

For my money, I’d save a little more (about double really) and buy a Kershaw Bel Air. Quality is excellent and blade steel is top of the line.

Obligatory Kershaw Bel Air hype.

The Bel Air is a hard knife to beat though and I would prefer it. The magnacut puts it ahead of the Lander, as S35VN can be chippy, but the rest is kind of subjective and they are fairly similar in some other respects. I think the handle shape of the Bel Air is more practical but preferred the blade shape of the Lander.

i would prefer the bel air if i were getting the gift. its American made and has a objectively better steel with more corrosion resistance.
