Kawai ES920

Pros

• Equivalents to the FP-90 are something like the Kawai ES920 (and older ES8) and the Yamaha P515/525.
• Kawai ES920 is 35lbs, feels very similar to an acoustic for its key length and weight. It has built in speakers so you won’t have to hook it up to speakers, and it sounds damn good.
• Hmm, I own an ES920 and I've owned and played many other digitals. I think it has decent speakers comparatively.
• I recently bought a Kawai ES920 digital piano and I’m looking for the best way to amplify and get the most natural, realistic sound at home.

Cons

• Kawai ES120, ES520, ES920
• If your fully weighted Kawai ES920 is causing problems for your hands, then clearly buying a weighted portable keyboard isn't going to fix my problems.
• I've got a Kawai ES920, I'm developing issues that were probably dormant but the action doesn't help, the bottoming out is too stiff.
• Decent mid range pianos that go for 1500-2000 are Kawai ES920, Yamaha P515 (heavier keys), Yamaha P525 (lighter keys), Roland FP 90X
• I think the action is a bit too heavy. Still playable but too heavy for long hours of practice. It can be still good if you are a professional or have really strong hands.
