Kali Linux

Pros

• Kali is more widely known and has more documentation, so Kali might be the way to go when you start with Linux.
• If you are interested in cybersecurity, I would suggest Kali as it comes with a bunch of preinstalled tools
• If I end up using separate os for pentesting, I'll probably gonna stay with kali anyway just because im already familiar with it

Cons

• kali is basically useless. the reality is theirs barley any difference between linux distros.
• If you don’t know anything about Linux Kali is gonna be useless to you. It just sounds cool cause “hacker distro”
• I've tried a lot of distributions, like Arch, Nix OS, Nobara, Cachy, Void, Kali, Endeavor, and Garuda, but I'm still hesitant to choose between them, thinking there are better options.
• Kali is typically used as a distro that serves as a tool for cybersecurity.
• I don't see the benefit of setting up something complicated to maintain with a triple-boot vs. just using Kali in a VM or on a persistent USB drive that you can boot to explicitly.
