I recently returned from India and visited Jaipur. No need to apologize. Everywhere has their issues. I just watched my government gun down two citizens in the street. Trash isn’t so bad.

Absolutel dog shit, Jaipur wasn’t TOO bad compared to Agra and Delhi. We went in spring so luckily it was too bad.

Jaipur is significantly larger than Khujand so probably comes with more opportunities.
I enjoyed Jaipur and Jodhpur.
Khujand is probably cleaner and more liveable and if you are a woman, safer. Jaipur is more historically interesting, better travel opportunities, and better food.
