Jack Daniel's 2026 Heritage Toasted Barrel

Pros

• What it is is a solid value (~$10/yr) toasted barrel product with wide availability for those who already like the JD profile. ... I like the JD notes so my bottle is a solid 7/10 for me.
• on my 3rd bottle, and never got any sharpie marker notes
• Parent context: Absolutely love this JD SB expression. Definitely among my favorite bottles at the moment. Reply: Same. Jumped on another recently when I saw it at Costco for $55.
• I had this one at a free tasting a liquor store was doing and loved it. I know have a couple of barrel proof single barrels and this.
• Opened her up that night and I was very impressed. Not one note, but simple and delicious. Very smores like. No banana. All sweet and savory.

Cons

• Same for me in this bottle, I love their ryes, but I cant get past the band-aid /sharpie note on other jack daniels products.
• Underwhelmed by my bottle, too (after two large pours so far). Won't be purchasing again. Too much other excellent stuff out there around the same price point or lower.
