It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Pros

• It’s honestly amazing for a show to go from nearly cancelled, to bringing in Danny DeVito, and is nearing 18 seasons now. All while becoming an anti-sitcom that is definitely not an awards favorite and has garnered a large cult following.
• Come to think of it if you want another comedy episode about human meat: the It’s always sunny in Philadelphia episode Mac and Dennis Manhunters is hilarious.
• And it actually managed to be genuinely emotional. It's been the least serious show for a long time but with "Mac Finds His Pride," The Gang Carries a Corpse Up a Mountain," and this they've managed to actually insert some actual emotion...
• Every season has episodes that prove this show is still the best at what they do. Sure, the newer seasons have a couple to few stinker episodes but for the most part they’re so damn consistent.
• I haven't seen episode 4 yet, but 3 is my favorite episode in years. Felt like a wild ride just like the old days.

Cons

• Parent context: Take this news with a grain of "Danny clearly had a minimized role in the past season because he's so goddamn old." There was an episode with him in a coma and it's not even Danny for most of the runtime. I loved the show...
• The show felt a little too self aware during the last few seasons. It was still enjoyable, but something has definitely switched with this new season; it feels more fleshed out.
• Don’t expect anything like this. This is one of maybe two emotional scenes in 16 seasons.
