Pros
- Parent context: Like on every Youtuber introducing news for iOS 18, this was the first thing I enabled after updating it to the newer version. Reply: My point is the average consumer is not on youtube looking at new iOS features. I knew...
- Things I like about iOS 18: - Passwords app - new calendar app - dark mode Home Screen icons - custom control centre - vehicle motion cues for motion sickness - emoji reactions in iMessage
Cons
- ios 18 completely destroyed the iPhone. Notifications are buggy, the photos app looks bad.
- Well.....I guess you've read several articles not so long ago about the iOS 18 updates (as I remember) that had just included this particular features, that had been on an Android for DECADES, not just years).
- It has been affecting both my iPhone and iPad for the past few months now since iOS 18. Updated to the last iOS and iPadOS and the problem still remains :/
- Apple broke it sometime in iOS 18. It’s not just you. It’s a proven fact that the keys will occasionally output a different character than the one you pressed, even when it *visually* shows the popup character you *intended* to press.
- I also don't like how they've redesigned a lot of the apps in iOS 18 compared 17, especially Photos.

then iOS 18.. buggy mess
It is very frustrating. It existed in iOS 18 too.
I wouldn't say it's more polished. iOS 18 has been a mess and I know a lot of people are having problems with it.
Nothing smooth and consistent in iOS 18, in fact there are more jitters and stutters than I have on my 4 year old Samsung.
Bought a mid range Samsung for this reason and also that ios 18 has been misbehaving a lot and extremely buggy.
