Instacart

Pros
- We stocked up on food and essentials before and also asked for gift cards for instacart and door dash. I don’t want to spend any free time grocery shopping
- The time spent grocery shopping can be shifted to pick up on the way home from work or delivered via instacart.
- Honestly, in my area parking is so bad that grocery shopping without instacart is almost impractical.
- You can drive for doordash or instacart. My boss makes $36 dollars an hour doing that.
- And with batches of big dollars off, even Instacart is manageable for times we don't need gas.
Cons
- Grocery delivery apps add on extra fees and tend to have higher prices than in-store. I once compared the actual in-store prices vs Instacart. There was a $1-2 difference in prices.
- They up the prices on the Instacart app for Aldi, so unless you end up with a really good promo, you're paying quite a bit more, especially with the additional fees.
- The prices on those apps are usually higher than in-store prices (that's part of how they make money), so just be careful if you do that.
- I think it's very much about rejecting/refusing AI and automation of services like Doordash, Instacart, etc.
- Parent context: I pay a hundred dollars a year to have both instacart and … Reply: The markup on instacart is insane

If you were to buy these items in store you certainly pay less based on the fee times I've tried instacart.
Honestly, in my area parking is so bad that grocery shopping without instacart is almost impractical.
This is pointless even with the sale you’ll pay more or equal due to inflated prices in app
