Just use Imgur, it’s not that big of a deal
The main problem with imgur is not even the vpn thing - it's the javascript bloat that prevents the full page from even being printed properly, not to mention saving it for offline use. The way they handle these things has deteriorated enough to make it borderline unusable to document anything.
