IKEA mattresses

Pros

• My whole family sleeps on ikea mattresses. One is a decade old now and has held up very well.
• we bought a £200 Ikea mattress and a £50 memory foam topper. The first lasted 10 years or so and we are now on our second. Highly recommended.

Cons

• I honestly say Ikea, yeah their mattresses are pretty mediocre, but they have a big showroom full of affordable mattresses which you can try out first before purchasing.
• With Ikea mattresses for the most part they will be more traditionally built, just a thin layer of polyurethane foam above coils and no extra edge support.
• From my experience, IKEA mattresses tend to run firmer than average. Be careful if you primarily sleep on your sides!
• We bought a luxury firm Winkbed back in ‘21 to replace an ikea mattress that was giving me (40F) side rib pain.
