  • I understand that people are disappointed with the roster, I love it personally, but this has to have some of my favorite musuo combat I've experienced in a long time.
  • So pumped for this. I put 47 hours in the base game and have been craving more.
  • I love the game & think it’s way more enjoyable than age of calamity
  • It’s the opposite for me, I love imprisonment a lot more.

Cons

  • This is the first one that I don’t have much motivation to play.
  • I loved Hyrule Warriors and Age of Calamity but for some reason, this new game bores me to death. I don‘t care about the characters or the story. Nothing important happens, the characters are not fleshed out at all and it’s very repetitive.
  • Parent context: Age of Imprisonment looks blurry and the textures are shoddy on Switch 2. ... love the game. Reply: Too big. Despite supporting 4k the game isn't running anywhere near that resolution natively. The game is only running at...
  • Resolution is rather low but sadly the game appears to be using FSR 1.0 instead of DLSS.

Parent context: Age of Imprisonment looks blurry and the textures are shoddy on Switch 2. ... love the game. Reply: Too big. Despite supporting 4k the game isn't running anywhere near that resolution natively. The game is only running at 720p to 900p while docked.

I've played this and Age of Calamity. I love it for the story and the mindless gameplay, because on the normal difficulty it's been extremely easy so far. That said I think it's relaxing and the story is very good so far. Idk if it's worth $70 to everyone but I don't regret my purchase at all.

Funny how the free updates trailer show literally nothing new except for story scenes from the base game.

Getting more post-game content is a total yawn for me without a new character. I haven’t touched the game since I completed the story and found out there were no post-game characters.

How are you steamrolling everything man? I have a level 100 character with a level 20 weapon and fight still takes forever. It's just so ridiculously tedious to see enemies health bars go down pixel and pixel without WPG smash, and it takes like 4~5 WPG to clear a boss, it just gets so dull.
