I used to rock Turtle Beach headsets, and switching to the Cloud 2 was such a massive leap. It honestly felt like going from 720p to 4K, but for audio.
You'll get much better sound and still hear footsteps without feeling like you're wearing a spaceship if you grab something like the HyperX Cloud II
The Clouds however, I feel like produce a clearer and more detailed sound (maybe an illusion because of the stronger treble?), and because of that I generally still prefer the sound of my good ol' Clouds.
