Homeland is a rough ride. Really emotional, lots of mental illness and trauma explored. Excellent post 9/11 drama. Kinda dips in the middle, but the first three and last two seasons are pretty great. Lots of action, lots of espionage and murder and such.
Homeland is the most critically acclaimed, then Diplomat, followed by Nashville. I would watch in that order.
Homeland. It’ll keep you engaged and you’ll feel satisfied at the end.

Homeland and the Diplomat were both good shows.
Homeland the first season was master class. It faded a little in the latter seasons, but it was absolute must watch when it came out. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
