Hogue Deka

Pros

• Hogue Deka is kind of the go-to Bugout comparison, which you can often find for $120-$140 ish range.
• At that price point I’d go Kershaw Bel Air or Hogue Deka. You get so much knife for the value and you get Magnacut steel which is almost unheard of in that price range. Solid built knives and quality materials.
• I have a deka with aftermarket scales that I like enough but I really want to get a bel air.
• Hogue Deka is affordable.
• Hogue Deka for scale 😉

Cons

• I guess the Deka might be my recommendation for that price range then. I just really don’t care for the plastic scales on them.
• Parent context: How do you like your hogue deka? I have the same one and i was really disappointed with the action. Love the look and feel and all tho. Reply: Oh man, the action on mine is absolute perfection! Yours might need a tear dow...
• Love mine! Super light like the bugout. Mine is newer and on aggressive flicks open the bar lock feels kind of sticky. Maybe it needs to break in more?
• I couldn’t wait to swap the cheap feeling polymer on my hogue deka to G10 though.
• I don't like my Hogue Deka as much as my Spyderco but that's my personal opinion
