Cons

  • the American version is dumbed-down and flattened and really not so great.
  • I’m frustrated that High Potential is taking a long hiatus before continuing the season 🤦🏻‍♀️.
  • Parent context: the male lead turned me off in the very first ep and idk if I want to continue Reply: The whole detective bureau is painfully inept.

  • There are some episodes lacking in suspense but it's a good show overall.

I’m excited for S2, I can really feel Drew Goddard , Rob Thomas and Co. in the production. It’s got the zip of an *Alias* or *iZombie* and I love the little flashback scenarios when Morgan is describing what might’ve happened.

Excited for another season! I'm hoping it will be a 20+ episode season, this one felt so short! Like someone else said, it's just comfort food. A nice little show you can put on in the evening to relax. There's no bad acting to annoy you (I get annoyed easily by that 😬) and the writing is just the right balance of easy to follow yet not too predictable to be boring.

I love this show because I *absolutely* decided to watch while imagining it as Sweet Dee having landed the breakout role of her dreams.
